Akti Beach Hotel & Village Resort — listed by many operators as Akti Beach Village Resort — stands on the Chloraka seafront, on the lighthouse boardwalk, a little off the Tombs of the Kings road between Kato Paphos and Coral Bay. Rentamania LTD works out of the same village: our office on Griva Digeni is around 1.5 km from the resort in a straight line, which makes this about the shortest delivery run we do. Most people staying here are in a studio or a suite with a kitchen corner, doing their own shopping and their own days out, so the car is a working part of the holiday rather than an excursion ticket.
Our office is in Chloraka too — St George's Shopping Mall on Griva Digeni — roughly 1.5 km in a straight line from the resort, or about 2–3 km by road once you follow the street down to the coast. Delivery to the hotel is free within 20 km of the office, so Akti Beach falls inside that radius with a lot of room to spare, and bringing a car over takes about 15 minutes. Distances and times here are our own estimates, not navigator readings, so treat them as approximate.
No prepayment is taken when you book. The rental agreement — insurance, fuel policy, mileage, who is allowed to drive — is gone through with you at the resort, in English, Russian or German, at whatever pace you need. Nothing is signed at a counter with a queue behind you, and anything you are unsure about you can ask twice.
At the end of the stay the car can be collected at Akti Beach by arrangement — we agree the day, the time and the exact meeting point in advance, which matters here because the resort sits off the main Tombs of the Kings road on the coastal approach rather than on a through street. If you are staying outside high season, the information we have suggests the resort does take guests through the winter months, though that is worth confirming with the hotel directly; in that stretch of the year a car is what keeps a quiet piece of coastline from feeling remote.
Cyprus drives on the left, and the first few minutes out of the resort — up to Chlorakas Avenue, then north towards Coral Bay (about 9 km) or south to Kato Paphos and the harbour without crossing the town centre — are the ones people find odd. We go through it with you before you set off. The fleet covers compacts and economy cars, family cars and SUVs, 7- and 8-seat minivans for the larger suites, 125cc scooters and buggies, automatic and manual. The team is on the ground here and speaks EN / RU / DE.
Compacts and economy cars for a couple in a studio, hybrids for long days out, family SUVs, 7- and 8-seat minivans for a two-bedroom suite, plus 125cc scooters and buggies — automatic and manual, all subject to availability on your dates. See the fleet →
We meet at whatever point you name — normally by the main entrance on the coastal approach into the resort. We cannot confirm what parking Akti Beach provides or whether it is charged; that is a question for the hotel's reception, and it is worth asking when you confirm your room. Once you know, tell us where to bring the car and we will meet you there.
The simplest arrangement is to take the car the evening before, so it is already with you when you leave. Delivery itself takes about 15 minutes from our office in Chloraka, but we are not a 24-hour desk, so agree the handover time with us in advance rather than assuming a car can appear at 5 a.m.
Yes, but the two are not the same thing. Return at Akti Beach is arranged with us as part of the rental; delivery to or collection from Paphos Airport is a separate paid service. The airport is roughly 23–24 km from Chloraka. Note that the '50 minutes' figure some tour operators quote is a shared transfer with stops, not the drive itself.
