Why we started
A rental experience that changed the plan
Rentamania LTD was founded by a director with more than ten years of experience connected with the rental industry, banking and business finance. Before starting the company, he had seen the industry from the lender's side, the operator's side and, importantly, the customer's side.
During an early visit to Cyprus, a low-priced booking at Larnaca Airport turned into an unexpected request for a €2,500 deposit or an expensive insurance upgrade. The practical conditions had not been explained clearly before arrival.
The lesson was simple: the market did not merely need another rental company. It needed a company that communicated differently.
Rentamania began in 2023 as a family project and soon developed into a professionally managed company with an experienced multilingual team.

Behind the name
Why “Rentamania”?
The name was inspired by Sushi Mania, a Cyprus restaurant owned by friends of the founder. Their hospitality, honesty and genuine care for customers left a lasting impression.
Rentamania was chosen as a reminder that a business is remembered not only for what it sells, but for how people feel after dealing with it.
