Two free ways to start at Cypria Bay
From our Chloraka office we drive about 9 km to the hotel, around 15 minutes in light traffic by our estimate. Cypria Bay lies within our 20 km free area, so in working hours we leave the car with you or bring you to sign at the office.
Paid at the car, not online
Booking takes no money. At the hand-over our team talks you through the contract in German, English or Russian; then you pay for the rental, and €300 is held on your card, refundable.
On an all-inclusive package?
Then book the car for your driving days only, not the whole holiday. On your first driving day we bring it over or drive you to our office; after the last, by arrangement, it waits in the hotel car park.
Harbour evenings, supermarket runs
The harbour and Paphos Castle are about 3.5 km west, some 6 minutes' drive, with Kings Avenue Mall at about 4 km. Bigger supermarkets and fuel stations are a short drive away.
Your Cypria Bay rental, first message to final day
- Send dates and flight times with the booking form or on WhatsApp, naming the hotel as Leonardo Cypria Bay. Nothing is paid yet.
- Pick where the car starts: the airport terminal on arrival in our working hours, or Cypria Bay: car there, or a lift to our office. Our written confirmation gives the car, time and place.
- Hand-over: we check every driver's licence and walk round the car with you; then you pay and the hold is placed. A second driver adds nothing to the price.
- Your booked return time, not hotel check-out, ends the rental. By arrangement, park at Cypria Bay with the keys at reception for our driver, free, or bring the car back to our office or the airport.
Which car for the A6 coast and the Troodos climb?
Petra tou Romiou (about 28 km east on the A6, 25–30 minutes) and Coral Bay (about 25 minutes along the coast) are easy days for two in a compact. Troodos Square is around 1.5 hours inland and uphill: four adults sit better in an SUV, six or seven need a 7-seat minivan. Every car is automatic. See the fleet →
At the airport instead: taking the car at the terminal costs €20 and returning it there €20; both are free once a rental runs 5 days or longer.
Questions Cypria Bay guests ask
Is Leonardo Cypria Bay the same hotel as Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris?
No. Cypria Maris is its sister hotel, about 100 m away, and some maps give both the same house number on Theas Afroditis Avenue. Put Leonardo Cypria Bay in your booking, so our driver heads to the right hotel.
On the map the airport is about 6 km away. Should we pick the car up there?
By road the terminal is about 15 km, around 20 minutes. Landing within our working hours, collect the car there: €20, or free on 5 days or more. Landing later, take a taxi, and start next day in our working hours, at Cypria Bay or in Chloraka.
We are travelling with young children. What should we tell you?
Their ages, so the right child seats come free with the car, plus how many suitcases and pushchairs you bring. We then suggest a car size, up to a 7-seat minivan, and confirm it in writing.
