The car comes to the hotel door
Our office is at St George's Shopping Mall in Chlorakas, and Chlorakas Avenue runs straight into Tombs of the Kings Road — roughly 3.5–4.5 km by our estimate. Avlida sits well inside the 20 km around the office where delivery to the hotel is free, and bringing the car over takes about 15 minutes. You do not need to come to Chlorakas to collect it.
Terms settled before you commit
No prepayment is taken when you book. We agree the car, the insurance and the driver details first, and what is agreed is what is handed over at the entrance. If you are at Avlida for several weeks in the colder months, give us the whole period and we will quote it as one rental.
Handed back at the same entrance
At the end of the stay the car can be returned to the hotel by arrangement, at a time we agree with you — your last morning is not spent finding our office. Finishing at Paphos Airport instead is a separate paid service, not part of the free hotel delivery.
Driving here, and who you deal with
Cyprus drives on the left, and the roundabouts on Tombs of the Kings and Poseidonos roads are where it shows. We keep both automatics and manuals — say if you would rather not think about gears. The team is in Paphos and works in English, Russian and German.
Four steps from Avlida to the road
- Tell us the dates and who is travelling. Avlida has family studios for up to five, so requests from this hotel are often for a 7- or 8-seat minivan or a family SUV; we also have economy cars, automatics and manuals, 125cc scooters and buggies.
- We confirm the car and the conditions in writing, including insurance and who will be driving. Nothing is prepaid at the booking stage.
- On the agreed day we bring the car to the hotel entrance on Tombs of the Kings Road — delivery takes about 15 minutes and is free. Papers and keys are handed over there.
- At the end you return the car to the hotel by arrangement, or ask about paid delivery and collection at Paphos Airport. During the rental the team is on WhatsApp.

Questions Avlida guests ask
Is there parking at the hotel for the rental car?
We will not promise you a space: the hotel's site does not publish parking details, so ask Avlida's reception when you book the room. What we can confirm is the hand-over — our driver brings the car to the entrance on Tombs of the Kings Road and gives you the keys and documents there.
We want to set off early for the Akamas or Troodos. Does that work?
Yes. Once handed over, the car stays with you for the whole rental, so you leave when you like. Only the delivery needs an agreed time — for a pre-dawn start on your first full day, ask for the car the evening before. From Avlida you are already on the road north through Chlorakas towards Coral Bay, Akamas and Polis.
Can we hand the car back at Paphos Airport instead of the hotel?
That can be arranged, but it is a paid service — free delivery and return apply to the hotel, not the airport. Many guests keep the car until the morning of departure, return it at Avlida by arrangement and take a transfer. Tell us which you prefer when booking and we will write it into the terms.
